FAQ
-
What types of training programs do you offer?
Pacific K9 offers private dog training, in-home sessions, puppy training, behavioral training, and board-and-train programs in South Florida. Each program is fully customized to your dog’s needs, age, and temperament.
-
How do I know which program is right for my dog?
We start with a free dog training consultation where we evaluate your dog’s behavior and your training goals. Based on the consultation, we recommend the best program: private lessons, behavioral sessions, or a board-and-train.
-
What behavior issues can you help fix?
We specialize in leash pulling, dog reactivity, aggression, anxiety, jumping, barking, service dog training, and overall obedience training. Whether you’re dealing with a reactive dog or just want better manners in public, we provide effective, long-lasting solutions.
-
What age can my dog start training?
We offer puppy training starting at 8 weeks old, and adult dogs can begin training at any age. Early training helps prevent unwanted behaviors, but even older dogs can achieve amazing results.
-
How long are Private Lessons?
Our private dog training sessions are approximately 60 minutes, while board-and-train programs range from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the dog’s needs and the intensity of the training goals.
-
Do you work with aggressive or reactive dogs?
Yes. Pacific K9 is known for working with reactive, fearful, and aggressive dogs throughout South Florida. We use safe, controlled methods to help your dog become more confident and manageable in everyday situations.
